With the recent release of Firefox 3.5, users will need to apply a hotfix to ensure compatibility with the Secure Sessions Service before they upgrade their onboard Firefox browser. Users may also need to update their device to version 1.3.x. Instructions below explain how to update the device and apply the hotfix.

Applying the Hotfix
==============
1. Download the IronKey hotfix from
https://download.ironkey.com/gen/firefox/install.rdf
NOTE: If the file is opened in your browser, select File | Save Page As... (Firefox) or File | Save As... (Internet Explorer) to save it locally to your computer.
2. Browse to the following directory on the Secure Files volume:
3. Copy the install.rdf hotfix file to the above directory.
4. Upgrade your onboard Firefox browser to version 3.5 via the Help | Check for Updates... menu option within Firefox. You may be required to upgrade to 3.0.11 first; if so just repeat the Help | Check for Updates process.
5. Restart the onboard Firefox browser
6. If you still experience problems with Secure Sessions, try disabling and re-enabling Secure Sessions in the Settings | Preferences section of the IronKey Control Panel.
